My experience enables me to offer effective, individualized, psychological and emotional care. I can work with a number of mental health and emotional disorders, and provide a neutral ground to both individuals and couples alike to explore and work with their issues.
My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I achieve this by providing a neutral safe confidential space, listening to your concerns, and providing an individualised treatment plan.
I will seek to be there for you every step of your journey. My goal is to help you grow from your struggles, heal from your pain, and move forward to where you want to be in your life.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counselling therapy, I will help you to recover motivation, perspective, and positive mental well-being.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Domestic Abuse is very common in our society and its emotional and mental impact on all concerned is phenomenal and enduring. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger following domestic abuse events. I can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing, and also help you gain an insight and understanding into how and why domestic abuse happened.
I work with both victims and perpetrators, and offer professional consultancy around all aspects of domestic abuse and its impact on both adults and children.
Relationship counselling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held with both partners and it is a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship. Individual sessions may also be offered as part of the work to supplement the ongoing relationship counselling.

I use a person-centred psychodynamic approach which places you the client at the centre of the therapeutic relationship. I will use a variety of skills and psychological techniques that are tailored to your individual needs and situation, in order to help you move forward towards your desired goal.
Please feel free to call me to explore confidentially the concerns that you are wanting to deal with, and what counselling might look like for you. Following this, if you decide to explore the process further, then we will agree to meet for an initial assessment session, during which we can better get to know each other and whether we are both happy to work together. If in agreement, we will then draw up a plan of support and commence counselling sessions. Progress will be regularly reviewed together, and we will seek to work together to a mutually agreed endpoint.
From time to time I will run dedicated workshops on topics such as domestic abuse, mindfullness, managing stress and anxiety. These workshops can also be delivered to groups in the community or in work settings - please contact me if you would like to discuss this further.
Details of upcoming workshops will be posted here.
